Construction calculator

As a Calculator at our company, it's not just about numbers; sustainable technical solutions are your motivation. Our branch in Amsterdam focuses on both small and large renovation projects, with a strong focus on making buildings more sustainable, where installation technology is crucial. You are the one responsible for accurately preparing calculations, carrying out on-site work recordings, tendering projects and drawing up quotations.

With your technical insight, you not only translate construction technical reports from consultants into appropriate calculations, but you also actively think about alternative solutions and materials.

Your daily tasks include:

• Recording and measuring potential projects
• Requesting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Preparing calculations for quotations, tenders and existing customers
• Integrating safety, health and environmental aspects into your calculations
• If necessary, developing additional/less work
• Ensuring a structured transfer, including a project folder with activity planning, materials list, agreements with suppliers and a safety, health and environmental plan
• Regular consultation with project leaders and division management about changes and progress of projects
• Collaborate with fellow calculators from other divisions for various quotation and tender processes
• Stay involved in projects to gain insight into actual costs

What we ask of you:

• Preferably you have several years of relevant work experience in renovation and maintenance or you are a starter who has completed at least an MBO-4 course in the field of Construction.
• You have experience with digital calculation systems, preferably Ibis software
• Broad interest in construction technology. Installation technical knowledge is an advantage
• You are practical, proactive and enjoy working in a team
• You are available 40 hours a week.
