Mechanical Engineering Technician (WTB)

Are you a Mechanical Engineering Technician who likes to roll up your sleeves? Then we have the perfect challenge for you! For a renowned company in the region Velsen we are looking for a Mechanical Engineering technician who will be responsible for maintenance, inspections and repairs on an extensive area within the factory. In this role you work with a team of 8 colleagues to manage installations throughout the factory. Your focus as a Mechanical Engineering Technician is on carrying out planned repairs and inspections of small to medium size, mainly within the factory itself, but also occasionally in the workshop. Safety is central to this role, in addition to your ability to work independently and your enjoyment of hands-on work.

The activities you will mainly be involved in:

• Carrying out planned repairs and inspections;
• Managing installations throughout the factory;
• Ensuring safety in your work.

What we ask of you:

• You have a VCA basis, or are willing to obtain one;
• You have a demonstrable MBO 3 diploma, preference towards WTB;
• You preferably have experience with assembly/disassembly;
• You are willing to provide consignment services in the future.
