Hostess/Host

Come work as a hostess/host at our care locations in Amersfoort , Nijkerk and Hooglanderveen . Make every day special for elderly people with dementia and go the extra mile for the residents and their guests.

As host/hostess  you will work in the restaurants of various healthcare institutions located in Soest , Nijkerk and Hooglanderveen .
Elderly people with dementia live at the locations. It is therefore important that you have some affinity with working with this target group.

Your activities are:

• Setting up and carefully clearing tables after meals;
• Provide assistance with preparations in the kitchen;
• Serve drinks quickly and friendly and manage the cash register;
• Chatting with the residents and their guests.

In addition to the catering activities, you are also responsible for welcoming residents and their guests and answering the telephone. 
Sometimes questions or complaints may come in, so you communicate these clearly with your colleagues in the department.

About the client

Our client is an important part of healthcare in the region Amersfoort . They have several care locations where they use temporary workers for gaps in the schedule.
Your shifts vary from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, divided into 2 shifts (morning and afternoon).

What we offer you:

• A salary from €14 gross per hour;

What we ask of you:

We are looking for someone with a passion for the healthcare sector, who can work independently, is representative and hospitable. 
What you bring:

• Affinity with the older target group;
• Experience in the catering industry;
• Mastery of the Dutch language;
• The flexibility to work a variety of hours, including evening and weekend shifts.
