As secretary of the Court of Audit, you are crucial for the investigation into policy and management of the Rijnland Water Board.

Your tasks within this position may vary from week to week, but below is a brief overview of what possible tasks may be:

  • Preparing meetings in consultation with the chairman.
  • Managing the administration and monitoring the budget.
  • Support you in drawing up concepts such as the annual plan and annual report.
  • Managing the audit office's web page.
  • Support with tenders, guidance in the selection of research agencies and acting as a point of contact for external researchers.
  • Organizing and supporting the Court of Audit, including archiving, appointments and scheduling of reports.
  • Manages and executes the purchasing and tendering process.
  • You ensure that the Court of Audit complies with Rijnland's own investigation protocol and policy.

About the client

You will work at the Rijnland Water Board. Nederland and water are inextricably linked. But strong dikes, clean ditches and pure water are important requirements for a safe environment. At the Water Board they take care of the water. So that you and all the residents of our area can live, work and relax in this beautiful water-rich environment. 

Your work location is the head office in Leiden , where you work with passionate colleagues within a professional team. Due to a shortage of parking spaces, it is not possible to park on location, but it is possible in the nearby area. 
The office is easily accessible by public transport.

This is a position for approximately 9 hours a week, where your efforts will be discussed in consultation following agreed evening meetings and/or consultations.
The period for this commitment is 6 years.

What we offer you:

  • A gross salary between € 3,492.00 and € 4,159.00 per month (based on 40 hours), depending on experience;
  • A travel allowance of €0.23ct per km;
  • Pension accrual from your first working day;

What we ask of you:

  • MBO working and thinking level or experience in a similar position;
  • Experience with Office 365 and teams;
  • Able to work both independently and in a team;
  • Organizational talent and administrative affinity;
  • Flexible availability for evening meetings and consultations.
