Logistics employee

As a Shop Service Employee you are responsible for the smooth running of all logistical processes and supporting tasks required for stocking and presenting the stores at Schiphol . This is a full-time position (35 hours) spread over five days from Monday to Sunday. If you prefer a part-time position, four days (28 hours) is also negotiable. 

It is a varied position, where you take on different tasks. To give you an idea of ​​your work, a summary is provided below:

• Processing incoming mail;
• Taking inventory of the products;
• Make price changes;
• Process problem lists and negative stock lists;
• Walk around stores (check empty sections, appearance, etc.);
• Enter and check orders;
• Post goods receipt. 

It is a position where you are busy with the administrative part and you also take on the logistical tasks. This organization has two warehouses. You have a large warehouse in Hoofddorp and a smaller warehouse at Schiphol . Since you are responsible for supplying the stores, it is important that there are always sufficient products in the Schiphol warehouse. You do this by keeping track of supplies and 'ordering' the products on time from the warehouse in Hoofddorp . This way you can then replenish the empty boxes in the stores in time.

You will work at a retailer at Schiphol via Actief Werkt! employment agency. This organization specializes in the retail of perfume, cosmetics, sunglasses and drugstore products on the Travel Retail market. You will work in a dynamic and international working environment where the organization considers it important that passengers have a pleasant experience in the stores.

What we ask of you:

You also bring:

• At least 1 year of experience in a logistics position;
• You can apply for a VGB (this will be paid for you);
• You can work in alternating and weekend shifts (there are no night shifts);
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.

In this position you will work behind customs. You must therefore be screened by the Marechaussee. There are two important requirements for this screening: you must live in a closed home in Nederland for at least 8 years and you must not have a criminal record.
