Service engineer

No day is the same as a breakdown and maintenance engineer. Every day brings new challenges and requires your creative solutions. From solving short-term disruptions to planning major maintenance; you are at the helm of our technical operation.

Your responsibilities:

As a breakdown and maintenance engineer you are important in our machine park. Without you there is a risk of stagnation and that is not an option for us. You ensure that our machines continue to run smoothly by:

• Independently resolve short-term disruptions and call in external specialists if necessary.
• Maintaining machines and installations, from changing filters to resolving reports about security systems.
• Planning and carrying out major maintenance, including ordering necessary parts and maintaining stock.

Important activities are:

• Resolve malfunctions quickly and efficiently to minimize production downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent future failures.
• Collaborate with external specialists and internal teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.

What we ask of you:

As an ideal candidate for this position:

• Do you have a diploma and experience in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering?
• Continue to expand your knowledge through courses and training.
• Are you flexible in dealing with disruptions and coordinate your urgency with the production team leader?
• Learn quickly about our continuously innovative printing and machine processes.
• Are you creative and proactive in finding technical solutions?
• Are you well aware of safety requirements and regulations in a production environment?
• Are you willing to work in shifted day shifts, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm / 8:00 am - 4:30 pm / 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
• You are on standby once every 3 to 4 weeks for malfunctions.
