Order picker day shifts

As an order picker at our client in Utrecht you play a crucial role in carefully putting together customer orders. Here it's all about precision, flexibility and teamwork. The warehouse consists of three departments: dry, cooled and frozen, where your focus is on the dry part. Een flexible attitude is important, because you can occasionally be deployed in other departments. You will receive appropriate clothing and allowances for this. You collect all orders using a voice picking system.

Your responsibilities:

• Carefully compiling customer orders
• Ensuring timely and undamaged deliveries
• Flexible working in different departments if necessary

Working hours are from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM (Monday to Friday) 

About the client

This organization is known for its traditional approach, with distribution centers spread across the country. You will work at the distribution center in Utrecht . As an order picker, you contribute to success by accurately preparing customer orders. The working atmosphere is dynamic, collegial and focused on growth. Together with your team you work on the success of the company.

What we offer you:

• A gross hourly wage between €13.81 and €14.43 (depending on experience)
• Travel allowance of €0.21 per km
• 25 vacation days based on a full-time working week
• 8.33% holiday allowance

What we ask of you:

• Heavy lifting is no problem for you (18-25 kg in the dry part)
• Good command of the Dutch language in connection with the voice picking system
• Independent, careful, collegial and flexible
• Willingness to work 4 to 5 days a week

You also bring:

• Experience as an order picker in a wholesaler
• Knowledge of voice picking systems
• Reach truck certificate is an advantage
