Gas station shift manager

As a shift manager at a gas station, you will work in an operational role together with your team to provide the optimal service to your customers. You are involved in coaching your employees, you provide a friendly welcome to customers and you also ensure that customers can use a safe and clean gas station. As a shift manager you are mainly present on the floor. You are ultimately responsible, so you dare to take responsibility for the deployment of your employees and the availability of products, absenteeism, turnover and controlling costs. When faced with challenges, you involve the team in finding solutions, taking into account the needs of each employee. You encourage a safe working environment in which employees can be themselves and openly express their concerns.

In Tilburg there are currently vacancies for the shift manager position at two locations. We will decide together which location you will end up at!

About the client

They provided personnel for, among other things, gas stations. They are Nederland involved in the refining and marketing of fuels and lubricants. Our customers are located in almost all segments, ranging from aviation and shipping to agriculture and large industrial companies. We employ approximately 2,000 employees and generate work for many more of them (contractors, suppliers). Our role as a company is to supply energy (in the broadest sense of the word) in a safe, respectful and sustainable manner. We reduce emissions from our own activities, we improve our products to help our customers reduce their emissions and we create sustainable business. We also focus on involvement in society, and in Nederland we focus, among other things, on encouraging training.

What we offer you:

• Gross monthly salary of € 2785 based on 40 hours
• Travel allowance of €0.21 per km
• After the temporary employment period, a contract with the client

What we ask of you:

As a shift manager of a gas station, you know how to act quickly in various ad hoc situations. You also bring:

• Availability of 32-40 hours per week
• Weekend and evening availability
• Has MBO 4 working and thinking level 
• Experience as a manager in retail and/or food
• Driving license + own transport (locations not accessible by bicycle or public transport)
