Operator

As an All-round Operator you fulfill a crucial role within the production team. Your day starts with a shift handover, where you discuss the results and details of the previous and upcoming shift with your colleagues, so that you can start your shift well prepared. You are responsible for the smooth running of the operational process in the production department, where you operate various machines, such as production machines or packaging machines. Thanks to your dedication, the fresh products are processed and preserved in a high-quality manner.

During your shift you will continuously monitor the production process to ensure that everything runs smoothly. If a malfunction occurs, you are ready to resolve it quickly, so that the production or packaging process can continue unhindered. In addition, you regularly carry out quality checks to ensure that our products meet the required standards. If you see opportunities for improvement, discuss these with the Shift Leader to contribute to an even more efficient and pleasant working environment.

From January to mid-June you will work in a 3-shift system with working hours from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm (morning), 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm (afternoon), and 10:45 pm to 7:15 am.
From mid-June to the end of December you will work mixed in a 2 and 3 shift system with working hours from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM and 5:30 PM - approx. 3:30 PM (end of production).

About the client

The company where you will work is a real family business and has two locations, with a total of 650 employees. You will work at the location in Kapelle , a small village here in Zeeland . Every day, various products are processed and transformed into preserves. Consider, for example, seasonal vegetables such as green beans, fruit and legumes.

• A salary between €2300 and €2900 gross per month.
• A fixed end-of-year bonus of 4.25%.
• 8% holiday pay.
• Accrual of 25 vacation days.
• 9.5 ADV days.
• For shift work you receive an average allowance of 22.5%.

What we ask of you:

• You have an MBO working and thinking level. 
• You master the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• Some experience as an operator is an advantage, as is knowledge of processes and installations.
• You are ambitious and motivated to further develop yourself within our company.
• You are willing to work in both 2 and 3 shifts.
• A pleasant working atmosphere and contributing to a beautiful factory are important to you.
