Caretaker

As a caretaker you are responsible for the maintenance of the building. You handle reports, carry out minor repairs and make regular rounds through the building. For this position you will work 16 or 24 hours a week. Preference is given to someone who can work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Working hours are between 07:30 and 17:00. This is a temporary position until at least October 1.

Together with your colleague, you ensure that the building is always in order. You do this, among other things, by responding to reports and minor repairs. To get an impression of the tasks you will take on, we have made an overview of them below:

• Active follow-up and monitoring of KWIS reports, ensuring that problems are resolved quickly and deliveries are made;
• Warehouse and stock management, including receiving and distributing goods;
• Preparation and handling of meetings or events, including preparing necessary equipment;
• Carrying out or supervising internal relocations.

About the client

You will work for a national facility service provider via Actief Werkt! employment agency. They provide support to various companies in the field of facility services. In this position you will work at a company that focuses on providing solutions in the field of safety and security. 

What we offer you:

You will work 16 or 24 hours a week. When you start here you can count on:

• Gross salary between € 2300 and € 2600 gross per month based on 40 hours and depends on your work experience;
• Travel allowance from 10 kilometers one way of €0.23 per kilometer or 100% public transport costs reimbursement; 
• Choice of being paid weekly or four-weekly;
• Possibility to follow training via Actief Work!

This is a temporary position until at least October 1. 

What we ask of you:

Your priority is to meet the wishes of visitors and provide excellent service. You also bring:

• At least three years of experience in a similar position;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
• Some technical knowledge;
• In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one.

You are hospitable and at the same time proactive, results-oriented and people-oriented. You take initiative to avoid problems and you focus on achieving your goals.
