Upholsterer

We are looking for an experienced upholsterer to strengthen our team. As an upholsterer you are responsible for covering and upholstering various surfaces, such as floors, stairs, walls and furniture, using different materials such as carpet, vinyl, laminate, and more. The duties include a wide range of responsibilities, including laying carpet and hard floors (such as PVC and linoleum), fitting window coverings, and supplying and installing furniture.

Your tasks also include: 

• Preparing the workplace 
• Application of upholstery according to specifications and designs
• Perform repairs to existing floors as necessary.
• Finishing and checking the work delivered
• Customer contact and providing advice on upholstery options
• Reporting progress and any problems to the project leader.

About the client

The company where you will work has an interior construction department where custom interiors are manufactured in our own workshop. They produce custom walk-in closets, bathroom vanities, TV dressers, pantries, cabinets and counters for both residential and commercial purposes, including industrial uses. The projects range from residential to commercial spaces and industrial complexes, and we also supply interiors for GP practices, dentists, hotels, offices, shops and hospitals. Due to the growing activities, they are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated floor covering professional to strengthen the team.

What we offer you:

• Salary €14.00 – €17.00 per hour, depending on age and experience.

What we ask of you:

• Demonstrable experience as an upholsterer is an advantage.
• You are available full-time.
• An eye for detail and quality
• Able to work independently, but also in a team
• Flexible and customer-oriented
• In possession of driving license B
