Lead our purchasing strategy and take your expertise to new heights as a Buyer! Discover the details of our vacancy here. As a buyer at our customer, you are a true sleuth in the world of suppliers. This is a full-time position.

You will actively look for the latest capabilities, production techniques and innovations to strengthen our purchasing strategy. In addition, you maintain close ties with our suppliers, where you always remain informed of their reliability, quality and technical requirements.

What are you going to do?

As a buyer, you ensure that contracts and pricing models are clear and fair, and you provide support to project buyers in complex projects and tailor-made purchasing processes. With your active involvement you contribute to the development of new products, focusing on manufacturability, costs and delivery times. Thinking ahead is second nature to you, and you ensure that purchasing always takes place under the most optimal conditions. 

Managing the ERP and PDM system is your responsibility, ensuring smooth processing of items. Finally, you actively think about improvements in the purchasing process, with the aim of optimizing quality, reliability and cost reduction. 

With your efforts and expertise, you will ensure that our customer continues to grow and prosper.

• A salary indication between €3,500 – 5,200 per month;

What we ask of you:

• HBO working and thinking level (preferably in (Commercial) Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering) ;
• Experience as a buyer in a technical company, preferably in mechanical engineering;
• Nevi 1 and 2 certification (or willingness to obtain it) ;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written.
