Customer service employee

As a KCC employee you are the first point of contact for residents, entrepreneurs and visitors to the municipality. You will independently answer questions that come in via telephone, e-mail and social media. You can also be deployed at the counter and welcome visitors who report to the municipality. The questions you receive are about all municipal services and products such as permits, travel documents, municipal taxes, making appointments, but also accepting and registering reports about public spaces. 

The team consists of 14 colleagues.

The client is the town hall of the beautiful Maarssen . 

What we offer you:

• Salary in scale 7 collective labor agreement for municipalities, depending on your experience. Maximum €3612 gross per month based on 36 hours per week.
• Accrual of holiday pay and days
• Travel allowance €0.23 per km or full reimbursement based on public transport 2nd class

What we ask of you:

As the first point of contact for this municipality, you know how to quickly clarify a customer question. You can ask friendly questions, analyze and then advise. You are able to quickly switch between the most diverse questions. And further:

• Experience in a KCC position within a municipality. If you do not have this experience, you have at least one year of recent and relevant work experience in another inbound customer service position at a professional and business organization
• MBO+ working and thinking level
• You can communicate professionally and businesslike in both Nederland and English (spoken and written)
• A friendly and positive attitude towards customers
• Digital skills to be able to quickly switch between different applications
• Available at least 2 days a week
