Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor you are responsible for coordinating all logistics activities related to our production facility in Roosendaal . With your broad expertise in logistics and versatile skills, you are able to accurately coordinate material flows with our production departments. You understand that logistics is a crucial factor in producing an excellent product with minimal waste.

As a Warehouse Supervisor you efficiently organize the material flows between departments, with a focus on timeliness and completeness. You guarantee an error-free picking process and monitor the production flow together with the water spider. Multifunctionality and workload leveling are essential in your approach. Together with colleagues from other departments, you ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production process. You consult with various departments such as Work Preparation, Construction and Electrical to optimize processes. Continuous improvement is high on your agenda and you actively participate in improvement projects. You set up KPIs, make proposals for IT improvements and initiate 5S processes. As a coach and manager, you conduct performance and assessment interviews and stimulate employee satisfaction. You are part of the operations management team and are responsible for personnel planning and audits on safety and 5S.

What we ask of you:

• Or MBO4 level logistics, supply chain management with at least 5+ years of experience;
• Or HBO towards logistics, supply chain management 2+ years of work experience;
• Experience with process optimizations, ERP systems, material planning;
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular Excel;
• Leadership (people-oriented and task-oriented); you know how to get people moving and how to connect, team player, analytical, results-oriented, problem-solving, proactive and persistent;
• You have good oral and written communication skills, in both Dutch and English;
• You are able to see the bigger picture (helicopter view) and know how to maintain peace within it (stress-resistant);
• You have a feeling for and knowledge of improvement and change processes and this is a condition for you to perform optimally;
• You have a decisive personality with natural dominance who can realize changes together with teams, you are someone that others want to work with and for.
