Mechanic

As a mechanic you are responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on forklifts and other means of transport. The company places an emphasis on delivering high-quality end products, so it is essential that you have an eye for detail and strive for quality in your work. You work independently and every day brings new challenges, because your tasks can vary daily. You will be part of a team of three and work for a company with two locations, which means you may need to move between both locations. This always happens in good consultation and offers variety in your work and colleagues. You work from Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM.

About the client

This company, with its origins in Groningen , still retains the characteristic down-to-earth Groningen mentality. It has now grown into a group of four companies, all specialized in customized transport equipment and warehouse equipment, such as forklift trucks, hand trucks, pallet trucks and warehouse racks. The company provides reliable products and service to various customers throughout the country, with the aim of creating an efficient and safe warehouse and workshop environment. Clear and direct communication is highly valued, both with customers and with colleagues. About 30 people work there. Long employment is the rule rather than the exception, which makes the company a pleasant and development-oriented workplace.

What we offer you:

• You will earn between €14 and €16 gross per hour.
• You will work in a team with a lot of knowledge and experience that is always ready to help you and learn something.

What we ask of you:

• You have experience with mechanics and/or electronics. Are you a car mechanic or do you have a passion for tinkering with cars/mopeds? Then we would be happy to talk to you.
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You can work independently.
