As a facility service employee you are the point of contact for facility matters. You are practical, if a problem arises you come up with a solution and get to work on it. This is a position for 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday). Working hours are between 08:00 and 18:00. 

You receive everyone with a warm welcome and enjoy having a chat with people in between your work. You are the first point of contact when it comes to facility issues. You also supervise and ensure order and cleanliness in the building. When the elevator has a malfunction, the carpet is broken or the kitchen unit is dirty, you solve the problem or forward the report to the service desk using the facility system.

In this position it is important that you keep a sharp eye on everything. You are responsible for various activities, including:

  • Answer and assist with incoming questions;
  • Ensure order and cleanliness in the building, including the meeting rooms;
  • Responsible for the stock of office supplies and printing paper. 

It is also important for this position that you are customer-oriented, social and easily approachable. 

About the client

You will work for a national facility service provider via Actief Werkt! employment agency. They provide support to various companies in the field of facility services. In this position you will work at a company in the financial sector. It is a position where you may occasionally have to work at other locations. The permanent location is Rotterdam , but if you are ill or busy at another location in the circle, you may have to work there. The other locations are: Gouda , Heinenoord , Gorinchem and Dordrecht . 

What we offer you:

You will work 40 hours a week. When you start here you can count on:

  • Gross salary between € 2300 and € 2600 gross per month based on 40 hours and depends on your work experience;
  • Travel allowance from 10 kilometers one way of €0.23 per kilometer or 100% public transport costs reimbursement; 
  • Choice of being paid weekly or four-weekly;
  • Possibility to follow training via Actief Work!

What we ask of you:

Your priority is to meet the wishes of visitors and provide excellent service. You also bring:

  • Experience from a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
  • In possession of a driver's license and own transport.

You are hospitable and at the same time proactive, results-oriented and people-oriented. You take initiative to avoid problems and you focus on achieving your goals. 

Furthermore, for this position you will be asked whether you are in possession of a VCA and BHV. If you don't have this yet, that's no problem. We will make sure you get it.
