Assistant painter

Have you passed your level 2 painter's training or do you now have several years of experience as a painter? Are you also available to work for a large painting company? Then Actief Techniek! may have the perfect painter vacancy for you! It is a large painting company from Groningen with about 60 painters employed. The painting company mainly has a lot of new construction painting work for one of the largest construction companies of Groningen . You will therefore often be on large construction sites where not only painters, but also carpenters and electricians are present. You will join an experienced painter who will gladly help you learn all the tricks of the painting trade. You will often work in groups of 2 – 8 painters. If you like it from both sides, there is also work for the winter, so you don't have to leave temporarily!

As an assistant painter you will do the following:

• Preliminary work (masking and sanding);
• to prime;
• sauces;
• topcoat;
• Learn the tricks of the trade from a teacher.

About the client

The client is one of the largest painting companies in the north. Employing approximately 60 painters. The painting company mainly specializes in serial new construction work in collaboration with major real estate developers. You will therefore often be present at large construction sites. The client has his material very well organized, so you work with the latest tools and types of paint. 

What we offer you:

• A good salary in accordance with the Painters collective agreement between €2,400 - €2,950 per month (depending on your work experience and diplomas)

What we ask of you:

As an assistant painter you are of course eager to learn, you want to develop yourself and you are reliable towards the painting company and you keep your agreements. In addition, we ask the following:

• At least 2 years of experience as a painter or a completed education of the Painter's Vocational Training Level 2;
• Driving license B and own transport (pre)
• VCA basic (or willing to get it for FREE via Actief Techniek! ).
