Train cleaner Lelystad / Almere

More than a million travelers use public transport every day. It is therefore necessary that the trains look spotless every day! It is an intensive cleaning job where you and a team ensure that passengers enjoy boarding the train. The activities and times are very varied. The job can be easily combined with a family or during your studies. What is your job as a train cleaning employee?

• Cleaning the tables and chairs;
• Sweeping and mopping floors;
• Emptying the rubbish bins;
• Toilets cleaning;
• Periodic cleaning tasks.

It is a flexible job because we work on location from Monday to Sunday. Together with our planner, your permanent point of contact, you will look at a schedule that suits you. We are looking for a cleaning expert who wants to work day and night shifts. 

The working hours in Lelystad are usually from 08:30 - 17:00 and from 21:00 - 05:00. In this position you can work approximately 16 - 24 hours per week.

The working hours in Almere are Monday to Friday from 08:30 - 17:30. On weekends from 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. 

Please note: for location Lelystad we are mainly looking for people for the night. The combination of Lelystad and Almere together is possible, but with day and night availability. 

About the client

Vebego Cleaning Services takes care of the cleaning of trains in your area. For this vacancy you will work in Alkmaar and/or Den Helder . 

What we offer you:

• During the night from Monday to Thursday €18.32, including 130% shift surcharge;
• On weekends, both during the day and at night, you earn €21.14, including 150% shift allowance;
• A basic salary of €14.09 gross per hour for 20 years or older in the day shift;
• If you perform well, there is the possibility that you will receive a contract with our client after one year;
• Together we will look at a schedule that suits you;
• Weekly payout on Tuesdays;
• 8.33% holiday pay;

What we ask of you:

• Available on Mondays
• Proficiency in the Dutch language in connection with taking a safety course;
• You will work at locations Lelystad and/or Almere ;
• Living in or in the area between/around Lelystad and/or Almere
• The possibility of applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
