As a Logistics Coordinator you will be in charge of a dynamic logistics team and you will be responsible for all operations within this department. You report to the Depot Manager and play a crucial role in the success of this logistics process. Read on to discover more about this challenging position!

About the client

Our client is a fast-growing logistics service provider. They deliver packages, develop smart IT solutions and are active in after-sales. Nothing is too much for this organization and they are happy to think along with you about developments. They have just moved to a modern and brand new building in Bleiswijk .

What are you going to do?

As department head for internal logistics, you work together with your assistants to keep things running in the department. You plan and prepare daily tasks, such as processing items coming in and going out, collecting orders and finding products in the depot.

It is important that you manage, monitor and motivate the logistics employees properly. You also ensure that the depot remains tidy and safe, in accordance with the applicable rules. It is your job to ensure that all tasks are carried out according to agreements and that quality and quantity are monitored.

You have regular consultations with other Coordinators and the Assistant Depot Manager to ensure that everything runs efficiently and effectively in the department.

What we offer you:

  • Salary between €2,400 and €3,111 based on full-time employment (excl. shift allowance)

  • Travel allowance up to a maximum of €7.54 net per day

What we ask of you:

  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level or demonstrable work experience.
  • Managerial experience, persuasiveness and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in a 5 shift system
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
