Are you an experienced baker, but are you tired of irregular working hours? Then I have the job for you!

We are looking for an enthusiastic baker for a client in Diemen who is at home in making ready-to-use products for all kinds of customers, from star restaurants to catering wholesalers. Much is still made in an authentic way with recipes from top bakers and chefs. Of course, innovations have been implemented in the workspace where necessary to improve production and make it more efficient. But the real old-fashioned craftsmanship has certainly not been forgotten. As a baker you are responsible for the production of a number of products that have been discussed in advance. You make the planning for this, keep an eye on it and manage employees. You can switch quickly and look ahead and ensure that everything runs as efficiently as possible. We are specifically looking for a baker with experience in both bread and pastries because the work covers both branches of the sport. 

Because these are products that have a longer shelf life, work can be done in the furrow. That is why there are no overtime hours, not even during public holidays, and we only work from Monday to Friday between 6:45 AM and 3:45 PM. It is important that you have a command of the Dutch language, spoken and written, in order to read recipes. You also have an MBO 3 bakery diploma and you have already gained a number of years of experience in the profession. We understand that a pastry chef does not do bread and vice versa, so do not hesitate to apply if you have only applied as a pastry or bread baker.  

About the client

This artisanal food company combines craftsmanship with today's flavors. They have been working with all kinds of important players in the catering industry for years. Product development is a large part of the work and their customers' chefs and bakers regularly visit to develop new recipes so that they can be put into production. This way they are close to the market and their customers and they know exactly what the latest trends are in the food field.

What we ask of you:

  • You have at least an MBO 3 bakery education;
  • You master the Dutch language, spoken and written;
