Wall-Ceiling installer

As a Wall and Ceiling Installer you get the opportunity to learn the trade and develop yourself in a growing company. You will be responsible for installing walls and ceilings in different types of buildings, such as offices, shops and homes. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the placement and installation of various types of walls and ceilings, such as plasterboard, system walls, metal stud walls and stretch ceilings.
• Preparing the workplace, such as covering floors and furniture to prevent damage.
• Assist in taking measurements and customizing materials.
• Assembling and fixing wall and ceiling constructions according to the instructions and drawings provided.
• Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in clearing and cleaning the workplace.

The company has an experienced and expert team of professionals. They specialize in installing and assembling walls and ceilings in both private and commercial buildings. They offer a wide range of services, including installing plasterboard, installing suspended ceilings, acoustic wall panels and insulation materials. They operate in the 3 northern provinces.

What we ask of you:

• No specific experience other than possession of a driver's license, own transport and possibly VCA
• Willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
• Dexterity with tools and building materials.
• Physically able to work standing for extended periods of time and sometimes lift heavy materials.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.
• Accuracy and an eye for detail.
