Shift leader

In the role of Shift Leader you are responsible for leading a team of operators, consisting of both permanent employees and seasonal employees. You act as the point of contact for growth, training and motivation within your team. Your job is to ensure that the production process runs efficiently, in close collaboration with your team.

The main tasks of your position are:

• Discussing the objectives and expectations together with your team.
• Making the right preparations for production.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, making suggestions and contributing to their implementation.
• Ensuring good cooperation and communication with other departments such as Packaging, Logistics, Quality Control and Planning.
• Identifying malfunctions and deviations in a timely manner, so that you can take appropriate measures to resolve them.

About the client

The company where you will work is a real family business and has two locations, with a total of 650 employees. You will work at the location in Kapelle , a small village here in Zeeland . Every day, various products are processed and transformed into preserves. Consider, for example, seasonal vegetables such as green beans, fruit and legumes.

What we offer you:

• You earn between € 2,900 and € 3,550 gross per month.
• Directly employed by the client.
• A fixed end-of-year bonus of 4.25%.
• 8% holiday pay.
• Accrual of 25 vacation days.
• 9.5 ADV days.

What we ask of you:

You have a passion for the food industry and you are driven to achieve goals.

As a Shift Leader you must also have:

• At least an MBO4 working and thinking level.
• Demonstrable experience in a production environment.
• Technical knowledge of production machines.
