Electrical Engineering Inspector wanted

As an electrical engineering inspector, you are responsible for carrying out various tasks for your client in an expert manner. From home you leave in the car provided by the company to the location assigned to you. This can be in many different places throughout the region and for different industries. No day will be the same as you will carry out inspections at many different companies and in different sectors. You then make reports of what you did that day and pass this on to your client. In addition, you also advise your assignment in an expert manner.

Job descriptions:

• Inspecting Electrical Installations: You are responsible for carrying out detailed inspections of electrical installations in various facilities. This includes checking wiring, switchgear, lighting systems, and other electrical components to ensure they comply with applicable regulations and standards;
• Reporting Findings: After conducting inspections, the inspector is responsible for accurately documenting all findings and any defects identified. This includes preparing detailed inspection reports that are used by various people in the company;
• Providing Advice: The inspector may also provide advice to customers on possible improvements or upgrades to their electrical systems to increase efficiency, improve safety, or comply with change;
• Knowledge of Regulations and Standards: Een electrical inspector must remain abreast of the latest electrical regulations, standards and codes to ensure that inspections are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations;
• Customer Interaction: The inspector may also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, scheduling inspections, discussing findings and recommendations, and answering customer questions about electrical systems and regulations;
• Safety Prioritize: Safety always comes first for an electrical inspector. Identifying and reporting potential safety risks and advising customers on how to minimize these risks is an essential part of the role.

About the client

The company focuses on restarting technical companies after certain calamities have occurred within the company and inspecting the safety of electrical installations and work equipment. These are checked on various levels during inspection. These areas are, for example: injury and fire risks. This is done according to Dutch technical standards. This company works with multiple inspectors for various governments, institutions and institutes throughout Nederland .

What we ask of you:

• You have completed an MBO education in electrical engineering, energy technology or equivalent (TBI/TSI);
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in the installation industry;
• You are eager to learn and you can quickly master NEN 3140;
• Experience as an inspector or knowledge of NEN 1010 is an advantage;
• You can work well independently;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You are able to write reports.
