This position goes beyond a regular administrative job; it offers the opportunity to be trained internally as a technical draftsman, even without prior experience in this field. What you do need is an affinity with technology, strong communication skills, independence, speed in learning new computer programs, willingness to take on new tasks, and stress resistance. As a draftsman, you are not only concerned with drawing work, but also with communicating with suppliers, gathering information from customers and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

As a starting draftsman, you will receive guidance from an experienced colleague during the first months. You will undergo a practice-oriented training in which you will learn the basic principles of CAD programs, geographical systems, and data processing, in addition to general drawing methods. Depending on your own learning speed, you gradually develop and specialize yourself. After about six months to a year, you can independently carry out drawing work, check drawings and assess complex situations.

More important than experience is your motivation and willingness to learn. You are naturally curious and feel responsible for the quality of your work.

• Minimum MBO level 3;
• Eager to learn and curious; 
• Command of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
