About the client

As an all-round mechanic you have a dynamic role in which you work both at the company location and with customers. You are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, assembling, reconditioning and testing electronic equipment and machines affected by fire and/or water damage, and you help locate and resolve malfunctions. Your work ensures that equipment and machines become operational again and customers are satisfied with the service you provide.

The company is one of the largest companies in the world in the field of damage assessment and repair of machines and equipment. Timing is of the utmost importance to their customers and also to them. After a disaster, it is extremely important that customers can get back to work as quickly as possible to limit lost (production) time. 

What makes this position extra interesting is that you also work on location with customers. No day is the same and you are constantly challenged with new situations. In addition, you perform a pager/emergency service once every four or five weeks, for which you receive an additional allowance.

Even if you have no experience yet, you are welcome to apply, as we are open to students who want to grow in this position. We are looking for an accurate and flexible person who is technically handy and can work well under time pressure. What we ask of you:

• You have obtained at least an MBO education in Electrical Engineering or have two right hands;
• You are in possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one;
• Working flexible shifts is no problem for you;
• You have experience in repairing electronic/computer equipment or are willing to learn this;
• In possession of a driving license B so that you can drive to customers yourself.
