We are looking for a miller in the turning shop for our employer in the area Velsen . Within this position you are mainly concerned with complex workpieces that can vary from hand size to pieces of 22 tons. About 90% of your work will be single pieces, so you won't be doing much mass production. This makes the work both interesting and challenging and varied.
You will work with various devices, both conventional and CNC. The machines you work with also vary in size; sometimes you work with very large installations and parts, for which you receive the right guidance. Within this position you also make extensive use of lifting equipment.
You will be shown a drawing from which you can deduce the necessary actions and the order in which you must perform them. Your pieces are then checked in the measuring room to verify that they meet the required specifications. You will work in 2 shifts, making communication with the other team essential to stay well informed of what is going on.
