Employee Landscaping

For a customer in the area Almelo we are looking for a landscaping employee May to September-Nov. You will contribute to:

• Maintenance of public green areas: You will be responsible for maintaining parks, public gardens, green areas and other public green areas in the municipality. This may include mowing grass, pruning shrubs and trees, removing weeds and general tidying up.
• Planting and construction: You can be involved in planting new plants in the municipality, such as flowers, shrubs and trees. You must take into account the correct placement and care of the plants.
• Tree care: As a landscaper you can be responsible for taking care of trees in the municipality. This includes inspecting trees for health and safety, carrying out pruning work, removing diseased or dangerous trees and planting new trees.
• Weed control: You will be involved in controlling weeds in the municipality, both on pavements and in green areas. This may include manual weeding, use of herbicides or other methods.
• Waste management: As a landscaper, you may also play a role in clearing up litter in green areas and emptying waste bins.
• Seasonal duties: Your duties may vary depending on the season. For example, in the fall you may be involved in clearing leaves, while in the winter period snow removal and gritting may be among your responsibilities.

This family contracting company is located in Vriezenveen and has had a partnership with the municipality Almelo since last year. They are expanding their activities in the green sector and are a leading contracting company in the land, green and infrastructure world.

The requirements are:

• You have (work) experience in the green sector
• You are a real go-getter and would like to work outdoors 
• VCA basis in your possession or willing to obtain it within 3 months
• You are eager to learn and willing to do further training when necessary
• You are a team player with a positive attitude
• Residential area Almelo
• Possession of a driving license B is an advantage
