Mechanic

As a mechanic, you mainly work in the field, where you perform your work at various locations in the north, such as factories and industrial environments. Your duties include the installation of belts and the maintenance of existing conveyor belts. Given the travel hours and physical demands of the job, your days can be long, so it is important that you are physically fit. You will receive appropriate compensation for overtime: 125% on weekdays and 150% on weekends. Working on weekends is a choice and will always be discussed with you. You usually start at 7:00 AM and end around 4:00 PM, leaving from the location in Assen to the workplace together with your colleagues.

Experience is not a requirement. We are open to candidates without experience and are happy to discuss your interests and suitability for the position. With the right motivation, we provide the right training to become a good mechanic. This work experience opens doors to a promising future.

About the client

This company specializes in improving the lifespan and performance of tires, conveyor belts and other rubber products in various industrial environments. Although their products are used worldwide, they mainly focus on the Dutch and Belgian markets from multiple locations in the country. This vacancy is specific to the branch in Assen , where they are constantly looking for new talent. The team at Assen consists of approximately 10 to 15 experienced employees who provide a stimulating work environment in which you are encouraged to grow and make a valuable contribution to the company and the industry.

• You will earn between €14 and €16 gross per hour.

• You are in possession of a driving license B.
• You are in possession of a VCA. If you don't have it yet, you can get it from us free of charge.
