As a Service Employee at Schiphol Group you are responsible for supporting the passenger process in the terminal. You refer passengers when transferring, guide passengers to Premium services, and ensure a smooth process, even during busy times. You manage the queues, install fences and monitor the correct use of the spaces. In short, a dynamic position where your proactive attitude and communication skills are of great importance.

You will receive a basic salary of € 14.46, which can increase to a salary of € 27.47 due to allowances in the evening, night and weekends. You will receive a solid travel allowance for public transport or, if you come by car, on the basis of mileage reimbursement. If you come by car, you can get a 'free' parking space at Schiphol . We schedule you as much as possible based on your stated availability. 

Your responsibilities:

You can achieve this by working on:

• Refer passengers when transferring to and from Premium services
• Escorting 'short-connection' passengers
• Checking the passport control rows
• Monitor the queues
• Installing fences, ribbons and signage where necessary
• Managing incidents
• Carrying out other facility activities

About the client

As a Passenger Assistant you work through employment agency Actief Werkt! at Schiphol , the largest airport of Nederland . Your involvement and commitment make the difference in the travel experience of passengers.

• Basic salary of €14.46/hour, increasing to €27.47/hour;
• Surcharges for morning, evening, night and weekend shifts between 130% and 190%;
• 100% reimbursement for public transport travel costs, otherwise € 0.22 / km (maximum € 22.00 / day);

What we ask of you:

NB! A Schiphol Pass is required before starting employment at Schiphol , which may take several weeks.
