Textile Laboratory Technician

In the role of Textile Laboratory Technician in Emmen you fulfill an essential function within the process by collecting samples from spools that are delivered on carts. This role requires weekend work on Saturday and Sunday mornings, each for 3 hours, as well as the last Wednesday of the month for 4 hours. You operate independently and are responsible for accurately registering the samples in the systems and physically moving the carts from point A to point B. Although moving the carts is physically challenging, this is an aspect of the position that contributes to its dynamics.

Your tasks include:

• Taking samples from the coils in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Accurately registering data in the systems.
• Moving the carts with spools safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Communicating any deviations or problems in a timely manner to relevant parties.
