Project Manager

We are looking for a driven Project Manager who works closely with the design, production and implementation teams to realize our projects effectively and efficiently. As the person ultimately responsible, you are responsible for successfully completing projects within tight schedules and financial objectives. You coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and monitor progress on various fronts, such as time, budget, quality, opportunities and risks. Leading various stakeholders is second nature to you and you constantly keep your finger on the pulse, both within the teams and in the interaction with our clients. This is crucial for you to ensure the progress and success of the projects. You are adept at solving unforeseen challenges, so that the continuity of projects is never jeopardized. This vacancy offers a unique opportunity through secondment for a period of 7 months. 

Your tasks include:

• Effective communication with all departments involved.
• Contract management per client.
• Monitoring and controlling budget, planning and quality.
• Identifying and resolving deviations and bottlenecks, including the handling of additional and reduced work.
• Active participation in the design process.
• Promoting the safety policy and active involvement in it.

Our client is currently in a dynamic growth phase and is undergoing the transition from a production-oriented to a project-oriented organization.

With a flat structure and direct lines of communication, the team consists of 65 dedicated professionals who cherish an informal working atmosphere. In this environment everyone is driven, involved and takes responsibility.

Our client specializes in light construction works for infrastructure. They take care of the entire process, from design to production and realization of various structures, such as handrails, edge structures, bridges, elevator shafts, platforms, wall cladding and anti-vandalism screens. They use a wide range of materials, such as (Corten) steel, aluminum, stainless steel, glass, wood and composite. The strength of their work lies in the unique approach to each project, whereby each end product is custom designed and manufactured. What we ask of you:

As an experienced Project Manager, you distinguish yourself through your excellent communication skills and your ability to switch smoothly between different situations. You know how to seamlessly adapt your communication style to the needs of both clients and colleagues. Een strong assertiveness characterizes your approach, which means you are well informed at all times and know how to avoid surprises.

Your leadership and entrepreneurship are the core of your working method. Proactivity, results-oriented and a strong sense of responsibility characterize you as a professional. As a team player, you actively seek cooperation with colleagues.

In addition, you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a project organization.
• HBO working and thinking level, preferably in civil engineering, (mechanical) engineering or business administration.
• Commitment, communication skills and decision-making skills.
• Possession of VCA VOL or the willingness to obtain this.
