Employee Landscaping

As a landscaping employee at Stadsbeheer Maastricht you contribute to the maintenance and development of green spaces. You start your day at the head office while enjoying a cup of coffee, where you will be told who and what tasks await you that day. Based on the work, you and your team collect the necessary tools and set off to work in the outdoors. 

As a Green Facility employee you are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Carrying out various (maintenance) work on green areas.
• Construction and maintenance of various accommodations, green and recreational facilities, and cemeteries, including the care of plants.
• Driving and using advanced vehicles, tools, aids and equipment necessary for the performance of the work.
• Carrying out maintenance work on green areas, such as pruning work, minor maintenance on trees, weed control, cutting back plants, and other common work within City Maintenance.
• Willingness to perform work during emergencies and overtime.
• Anti-slip measures in the winter period.

• A well-paid job with a starting salary of €15.88 per hour.
• Working hours from 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• A surcharge of 20% if you start between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM.

What we ask of you:

• You are willing to participate in emergency shifts on a roster.
• You have good professional and plant knowledge.
• Driving license B, (E and T is an advantage).
• Available from Monday to Saturday.
• Available from April.
• A completed MBO level 2 and/or 3 course, possibly in green management.
• You are enthusiastic, proactive and flexible.
• You are a team player.
