Technical service technician

We are looking for technicians to strengthen the technical service for a production company in Amsterdam Noord.

About the client

We are looking for a technical service technician for an international company that produces industrial packaging materials. Production runs 24 hours a day, but you will only work day shifts. You do have occasional breakdown service, which means that you are on call outside working hours when there are problems that the operators really cannot solve and require immediate attention. 

As a technician in the technical service, you will solve malfunctions and act proactively in identifying problems. You can come up with unusual solutions if the situation requires it, but you should consult with your colleagues whether it is possible within the agreed work process. You also run breakdown services and carry out preventive maintenance work. do you see areas for improvement? then you discuss this directly with your manager. And once you have carried out this, you register everything and note this in the working drawings so that your colleagues also know what the situation is. 

You also find safety very important, just like our client. During your work you improve the safety of the machines and you also keep an eye on the safety of you and your colleagues. 

It is nice if you have an education in mechatronics or mechanical engineering or experience in this direction, but it is not required.

What we offer you:

• A salary of €2,600 to €3,500 gross per month based on 40 hours, experience and education;

What we ask of you:

• An MBO 4 education in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanics / Mechatronics is an advantage;
• Experience as a mechanic is an advantage;
• Good communicative skills;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
