If you have a Vapro B diploma or a level 4 technical diploma, it is possible to develop yourself into an experienced process operator. At Yara Sluiskil we have several vacancies for process operators for the Plants Urea, Nitrate, Ammonia and the Plant & Nitric Acid.

The activities of process operators

At Actief Werkt! we have various operator vacancies to get started at Yara Sluiskil . Your duties in this position are:

• Carrying out inspection, operation, malfunction and maintenance work on the installations and equipment in the plant and checking and operating the compressors, pumps, fans and related equipment;
• Noting found process variables;
• Checking various temperatures, pressures and levels according to prescription or indication;
• Signaling malfunctions and leaks, reporting deviations to the control room via intercom and/or walkie-talkie;
• Assisting the chief operator and colleagues;
• Assisting with the overall start and stop of the process installations;
• Commissioning and decommissioning of the various installations.

• Shift allowance of 29% on top of each hour worked;
