Good employership

In this tight labor market, being a good employer is a hot item. To remain attractive as an employer, you must have something to offer. In 2019, Actief Werkt! was again named Best Workplace. Great news, we are still in the top 3 best employers of Nederland ! Something we are of course extremely proud of.   We would like to share with you what we owe this recognition to.  

Employees first

'Employees first', that is one of our four strategic pillars.   We believe that happy people who enjoy working   are the source of surprisingly good and personal service. That is ultimately   the goal; satisfied customers and flex colleagues.   For us, Great Place to Work is first and foremost: listening. The fact that we have won this award gives us something great for recruitment and labor market communication. However, that is not the main goal. We see Great Place to Work as an important means to receive structural feedback about Actief Werkt! as an employer. Your employees give their opinion, to us to do something with it.   We therefore find it important to involve our Active People more closely in response to the insights obtained and to give them a role in the implementation of improvement processes.

How do you become a Best Workplace?  
Director of Actief Werkt , Ronald Kardol: "Our approach is always personal. This starts with the selection of employees, where we look very closely at the match between employees and the DNA of our organization. That DNA is best described by our core values Personal, Nearby and Doing. New colleagues also follow an extensive induction program so that they quickly feel at home. As the location on the list shows, we are already seen as a good employer, but our ambition is to develop ourselves even further!" Kardol said.

  A total of 38,000 respondents from 140 different organizations participated in the Great Place to Work® survey.   The study consists of an employee survey and an evaluation of the employer's policy. Ultimately, 36 organizations ended up on the list of Best Workplaces in 2019.
