Painting is a profession where every day is different and you come into contact with different people a lot. For example, you can work in maintenance, new construction, construction or as a painter or wood rot repairer. When you want to become a painter, you soon find out that it's run or stand still in this industry. In the painting season (from April to October approximately) there is plenty of work, in winter there are fewer assignments. The extra time you have then can be spent on further training.
Become a painter training
If you want to become a painter, you need to follow an education. You can learn the basics and immediately start as an apprentice painter or continue studying and specialize yourself more. At Actief Techniek you can follow the basic training internally. The first 12 weeks you will learn the tricks of the trade in our workshop. You will then go on an internship for 12 weeks. When everything runs smoothly, you will receive a six-month contract with one of our clients. So you can become a painter within a year! Een training at Actief Techniek has the following advantages:

Becoming a painter at a later age
Would you like to change your life and (maybe) do something completely different? You can become a painter later in life! We think it is important that you are motivated. We are happy to give you a chance! However, do realize that it can be a challenge to become a painter later in life. It is fairly hard work that requires quite a lot from you physically.
